Piramal Diagnostics – Jankharia Imaging is a Centre of Excellence in Radiology. As a Centre of Excellence for the entire PDSL group, it provides cutting edge services both with respect to technology as well as knowledge base.
Piramal Diagnostics – Jankharia Imaging has always been a pioneer in introducing new technology in the country. For example, the centre was the first to install a private, standalone CR system for digital X-rays in the country and the second private centre to install a DXA (bone densitometry) machine. The latest addition is a high definition PET/CT, the first of its kind in the country and the first stand-alone, private practice PET/CT in Mumbai. Soon, it will also spearhead a 3T MRI with functional MRI (fMRI), which will be the first centre of its kind in India.

Piramal Diagnostics – Jankharia Imaging also provides technical and subspecialty knowledge support to all the other centres in the group, thus making sure that all other centres provide the same quality of service, irrespective of the city, state and region of the country. It also conducts training sessions for technologists and radiologists across the group.
As part of this recognition, the National Academy of Medical Sciences in New Delhi has allowed the centre to offer two seats for the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) degree course, which is an Indian Government and Ministry of Health recognized and approved degree course in radiology.
This Centre of Excellence also runs a Health Check-up centre, focused on providing exclusive, customized preventive health check-up packages. The centre is run by Dr. Deepa Pande, along with Dr. Anuradha Shah, who also offers diagnostic and treatment solutions for sleep problems.
Most of the doctors in the centre are recognized experts in their respective fields and handle second and third opinions on difficult cases every day, from different parts of the country.
